ThriftyFlare™ Cone Collapsible is an economic winner. A single ThriftyFlare™ Cone Collapsible costs less than 4 incendiary road flares, yet exceeds the burn time of up to 30 incendiary flares. Change the batteries (approx. 60 cents) and it replaces another 30 incendiary road flares. Even if damaged, lost, left behind or stolen after being deployed for 1¼ hrs, ThriftyFlare™ Cone Collapsible has saved your department money. Available emitting Red, Amber, or Infrared, light. Also available with a flashing beam circuit which outlasts 30 incendiary flares or as a steady beam circuit which outlasts 10 incendiary flares. The ThriftyFlare™ Cone Collapsible is a highly efficient LED road flare, energized by two ''AA'' batteries. It's tall enough (5½ inches) to be visible above roadway bumps, stable in high winds and can be configured to deter snow from covering the emitted light (select Snow Dome Model). It can be deployed as a free standing flare or standing within a traffic cone, causing the cone to glow. It is extremely compact, available in kits of 6 or 24 and requires minimal storage space.
